SAFCEI invites you to apply for the Faith Leader Environmental Advocacy Training (FLEAT) South Africa III workshop. The first workshop for our third South African FLEAT cohort will take place from 28–30 July 2026 at the Schoenstatt Retreat and Conference Centre, Cape Town.
We look forward to bringing Faith Leaders and Green Champions together from South Africa to learn from one another and share their knowledge and experiences in climate and eco-justice advocacy. Applications are open to those who are actively engaged in environmental justice work.
SAFCEI is seeking a diverse group of South African faith leaders with 50% women participants and a good representation of youth. We kindly request that you share this opportunity widely within South Africa.

Building on the foundations of previous FLEAT South Africa cohorts, this workshop will deepen knowledge and skills across key thematic areas, including:

Everyone who applies will need to attend the entire 3-day workshop. SAFCEI will provide accommodation, meals, and transportation for all participants. Full logistical details and programme information will be shared upon confirmation of your place.
