APPLY NOW Equitable Energy Futures: a Workshop Series for a Just Energy Transition
SAFCEI invites applications from faith leaders in Mozambique, Namibia, and South Africa to participate in a series of workshops focusing on empowering faith communities on the just energy transition and addressing false energy solutions and promoting renewable alternatives.
The project seeks to challenge unsustainable energy solutions such as oil, gas, and nuclear expansion while promoting renewable alternatives across South Africa, Mozambique, and Namibia.
Participants are expected to work together on advocacy actions both in their own countries and regionally, and commit to attending 7 workshops (online, hybrid and in person) over the next year, in order to foster regional strategy.
