Unlike other organizations, URI enhanced monitoring and evaluation systems to double screen the project as to make sure 90% of trees survive. This is on top of environmental management trainings to support community people to change mind set and challenge deforestation norms. The program left no stone unturned, politician, Faith leaders, Chiefs, community gatekeeper were involved at all levels.
