Over 70 youths are currently gathered at the Rabbuni Centre of the Catholic Diocese of Klerksdorp in the North West. The purpose of the gathering is to be workshop on the Environment. SAFCEI has been invited to co-facilitate this workshop with a special focus on Eco-congregations and the meaning of the recent Encyclical of Pope Francis. The invitation was received from Rev Bishop Victor Phalane who has been present during this workshop.
This is the first workshop of its kind in this Diocese and most probably the first in South Africa that has the Encyclical of Pope Francis as one of its main subjects. SAFCEI is very priviledged to have been invited. We hope that a great partnership is going to be created between SAFCEI and this Diocese.
