An International Islamic Climate Change Symposium was held in Istanbul where Muslim leaders from across the world met from the 17-18 August to discuss the first Islamic Declaration on Climate change urging Muslims to take action ahead of UN Climate talks in Paris at the end of the year.
The gathering called on the world's 1.6 billion Muslims to take action against the destruction of creation and to remember the Prophetic teachings on protecting our environment.
