This weekend, two weeks before this year's international climate conference, COP26, people of faith will sound the alarm for climate justice and demand action by governments, financial institutions and their faith institutions as part of a global, multi-faith action - Faiths 4 Climate Justice.
Join us on 17 and 18 October to send a message: destroying the planet is against our religions!
Faith communities are not standing idly by while many of those who have the power to stop the Earth’s desecration do nothing. The Faiths 4 Climate Justice Action will make it clear that they will settle for no less than what is compassionate, loving, and just.
Faiths 4 Climate Justice demands: 1. An end to fossil fuels, deforestation and related finance 2. Universal access to clean energy (no more nuclear) 3. Green jobs to build back fossil free 4. Climate reparations from wealthy countries
