We hosted our first Faith Leader Energy Programme (FLEP) workshop on 15th and 16th July at the Shalimar Gardens Hotel in Cape Town.
The workshop was aimed at building on lessons learned at last year's People's Power Learning Festival by engaging on topics around environmental justice, eco-justice, climate change, energy and policy-making issues in South Africa, and empowering faith communities to harness their own resources to work towards an energy future that Encourage shift towards a renewed and clean energy.
SAFCEI (Southern African Faith Communities’ Environment Institute) is a multi-faith organisation committed to supporting faith leaders and their communities in Southern Africa to increase awareness, understanding and action on eco-justice, sustainable living and climate change.
