If you are new to this concept or already practising agroecology and would like to connect with experts, please join us for an online workshop on 9 September 2022 from 09:00 am – 11:00 am SAST. Regional experts will share their perspectives on what is agroecology, faith, its impact on climate change, and gender links.
In the Southern African region, majority of the population relies on agriculture for their primary livelihoods depending on natural resources: water, soil, air, and sun. Agroecology presents a proven way of growing food that is best for people, the planet, and the climate.
The workshop will provide resources on agroecology and its positive impact on the environment. Participants will be introduced to marketing strategies to set up viable and sustainable agroecological practices.
